About The Foodie Company
The Foodie Company was founded in 2007 by young entrepreneur Peter McLean. Initially launching Foodieboxes, his business has grown at a rapid pace. In 2009 The Foodie Company opened its first café, Foodies Holyrood on Holyrood Road, which is now a thriving venue where homemade cakes and hearty mains can be enjoyed while the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filters through the airy venue. It is also hired out as a venue for corporate and social functions. In 2010 the company went on to launch Foodies Delivered, providing outside catering primarily for businesses in Edinburgh. For businesses wanting to offer the finest Scottish food, Foodies Delivered delivers freshly prepared food on time, any time.
Foodies Events followed in 2011, to take the hassle out of hosting, from drinks and nibbles to exquisite fine dining for weddings and black tie events for fellow Foodies who share a passion for the finest food.
With many more ventures in the pipeline, The Foodie Company is thriving, while remaining committed to sourcing and serving the highest quality food to it’s ever growing customer base.
